Are your mugs handmade?
Yes! Every mug is handmade in small batches in my studio. Each piece is thrown, trimmed, glazed, and fired by hand, which means no two are exactly alike, and that’s part of the charm!
Why do handmade mugs cost more than mass-produced mugs?
Because hands are involved 😊
Handmade ceramics take time, skill, and care at every stage of the process. Pricing reflects the materials, studio costs, and many hours that go into creating mugs meant to be used and loved for years.
Why do custom mugs cost more than ready-made mugs?
Custom mugs are made just for you. That means extra design prep, careful logo placement, testing, and handling throughout the process. Custom pieces also can’t be resold, so pricing reflects the extra time, attention, and love that goes into each one.
What’s the minimum order for custom mugs?
The minimum order for custom mugs is 4 mugs.
Do you offer bulk pricing?
Yes! Bulk pricing is available for larger custom orders and is applied per mug based on quantity. Discounts reflect production efficiency while still honoring the handmade process. Reach out for a custom quote, I’m happy to chat.
How long will my custom order take?
Custom orders typically take 3–4 weeks from design approval to completion. If you’re on a tight timeline, rush orders may be possible. Just reach out and we’ll talk through the details.
Can I use my business logo or artwork?
Absolutely. High-resolution logo files (PNG, SVG, or PDF preferred) work best. I’ll review your design to make sure it translates beautifully onto ceramic before we move forward.
Will I get to approve the design first?
Yes! You and I will work together to create the perfect design for your custom order!!
Are your mugs food- and dishwasher-safe?
Yes! All mugs are made with food-safe glazes and are dishwasher and microwave safe. Handwashing is always appreciated if you want them looking extra cute for the long haul.
Will all of my mugs look exactly the same?
Not exactly, and that’s the magic of pottery! ✨
Because each mug is handmade, slight variations in shape, glaze, and finish are normal and expected. These differences make each piece unique.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Because many pieces are custom made, returns or exchanges aren’t accepted. If your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery and I’ll take care of you.
Do you ship orders?
Yes! I ship within the U.S. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or included in custom quotes, depending on the order. Local pickup may be available in San Antonio, TX.
